Meet Dolly……

Named after Dolly Day Dreamer (yours truly), one of our favourite walks in the lakes Dollywagon Pike, and – wait for it – Dolly Parton, have you seen the red spoilers!  In Starlight blue she really is an all singing, all dancing head turner.

Dolly is our ‘VW Dream Girl‘ with 7 speed cruise control  & Top 204 engine, Long Wheel Base. Automatic.

Dolly carries 5 passengers. Sleeps 4. Perfect for larger families and groups. **Dog Friendly**

Meet Dixie……

Dixie is our ‘VW Show Girl‘ sporting a rare Kurkuma yellow. She is our retro gal & with her Metallic finish she stands out from the crowd! Once seen never forgotten..sunglasses are a must 🙂

Dixie is dressed to impress, the ultimate ‘Passion Wagon’  with 7 speed cruise control 150 engine Long Wheel base. Automatic.

Dixie carries 5 passengers. Sleeps 4. Perfect for larger families/groups and special Occasions ( Disco Lights ) **Dog Friendly**

Meet Roxy……

In Acapulco Blue, the colour of the ocean ‘Roxy’ is our ‘VW Surfer girl‘ She is perfect to explore the coastline and park up on a summers evening for sea views and to ride the waves whether it be the west coast of Cumbria, along the shores of the NC500 in Scotland or the rest of the UK.

Roxy is a more chilled ride with mood lighting and has a scenic roof canopy for star gazing.  Perfect for parking up for Wild Swimming and Dips in the sea. Short Wheel Base 180 engine.

Roxy carries 4 passengers. Sleeps 4 with 2  front swivel seats ( Captain Chairs). Automatic.

Introducing Bessy…… 

Bessy is our ‘VW Mountain Girl‘, named after the Lakeland Rosthwaite Fell aka ‘Bessy Boot’. Her Forest green bottom half is perfect for blending in with nature and is the ideal ride for countryside roads.  Her unique ‘U’ Shaped interior is perfect for social evenings and grabbing a brew and natter after a walk in the hills.

Bessy carries 3 passengers (Up Front) Sleeps 4. Ideal for couples and small families.  Short Wheel Base. Manual.

Bessy is having her make over at the mo and will make her debut in May. (Watch this space!) We are loving her new look and can’t wait for her to hit the road in time for summer nights x

Our VW T6 Highline Camper vans have been converted with comfort and ease in mind and have all the mod cons one could ask for when thinking about booking a road trip.

Our girls are ready to take you on a road trip to remember whether it be solo, couples or on family holidays and with unlimited mileage it will be a road trip to remember 🙂

Not to outshine each other we have ensured all our vans are fully equipped with top of the range mod cons, kitted out with everything you need and are equally as amazing as each other with a personality and individuality of their own, after all we don’t want any sibling rivalry 🙂

 

For those larger families of 5, why not hire our drive away awning which can be used as a bed compartment.

Dolly and Dixie are two of few long wheel base vehicles for VW Campervan hire in the Lake District and UK ( I have done my homework ) They are perfect for the more experienced drivers as they are longer in length with more luggage space.  Short Wheel Bases can fit in  tighter spaces so possibly more suitable for couples going off grid. If you pack sensibly however the storage is ace in Roxy.  Bessy has under seat storage therefore packing in soft smaller bags is recommended.

Our top notch heating systems will keep you toasty whether you are on a winter exhibition or want to feel snug as a bug on a cool summer’s night. On the warmer evenings ‘Night Owls’ can grab a camp chair and watch the sunset or for you ‘Early birds’ watch the sunrise 🙂 We do not charge any extra for outdoor furniture 🙂 Your Welcome x

All appliances in our vans are fitted including a double hob sink and fridge & our signature maps of the Lake District on the fridge doors will have you planning your next pit stop whilst sipping a cool beer.

We have thought of everything you need to cook up some tasty meals as one thing is for sure, the vans are not the only ones who will need fuel, fresh air makes you hungry. Pots & Pans are supplied.

We have both tea and coffee lovers in our family, so a teapot and a cafitiere is on board to kick start your day with a brew.

A TV/DVD player and a selection of DVDS are available for hire for rainy nights so slide the bed down, tuck up with your cup of hot choccie and breathe…a little piece of heaven.

For those wilder campervan experiences and for those who get caught short there are Portable Loos available to hire, I still maintain there is nothing wrong with a wild wee but watch the nettles ouch!
