Site 2: Skelwith Fold Caravan Park

Unspoilt Lakeland woodland, magnificent views of the Langdale Pikes, voted Holiday Park of the year 2010 by Cumbrian Tourist Board, 2.4 miles from Ambleside, 7.6 miles from Bowness.

Site 1: Eskdale Camping & Caravanning Site

Situated in the village of Boot Eskdale is “one of the loveliest of Lakeland Valleys” said Alfred Wainwright. There are walks to suit all levels. Boot boasts three traditional Lakeland pubs within easy walking distance of the site.

To do: Stanley Ghyll Force – 60ft high in a dramatic deep and narrow gorge.
Eskdale Cycle Trail Newly – created which runs between Eskdale and Ravenglass.
Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.

Site 2: Wasdale

This stunning place is under the Scafell mountain range at the head of beautiful Wastwater. Walkers can reach England’s highest peak – Scafell Pike – and England’s deepest lake – Wastwater – from the Site. Wasdale Head Inn is a short walk away.

Site 3: Seacote Holiday Park 

Situated on the West Cumbrian Coast. In front of the site lies St Bees Beach, walk along the beach to Flewick Bay.
